I have processed a lot since I had my birthday. Lots of thought to the fact I am so loved by so many. I try to be pretty transparent here. Unlike a bunch of others, perhaps most, I feel safe here. You have all seen me, warts and all. Angry, raging, crying, vulnerable, disconnected. Sometimes getting it right, others not even close. Jumping in at the right time, or the wrong time. And still, in spite of what you seem to have seen, you love me. Right where I am. It carries me through sometimes. Up and over the raging rivers, pulling me along, refusing to leave, giving me tremendous strength or receiving it from me. So let me say with all the humility I can realize that I love you all so much. I appreciate so much the gift of this life, largely for the aid and comfort and counsel you have all given me when I needed it the most. Thank you for every kind word, every affirmation. What a great birthday I woke to last Friday. 61, because of you all, does not seem nearly as scary as it could. :)
