I have read Black Like Me, and I can appreciate his willingness to ask questions and test his reality. It takes people like him to cross over to learn and try to experience as best they can what others go through. Just like Black Like Me (there are people) who are going to hate and miss understand the lesson to be taken from his story. He is on the inside with his church, maybe from the inside he can further erode the hate. Might not be today but it is a start... and maybe he will learn and write on other issues to further tear down his religious indoctrinations.
