I have read many posts calling Robin Williams a coward for committing suicide or that he was selfish. How does anyone measures a mans mental pain? I think about killing myself daily as I am very unhappy and lonely. I feel alone all the time even when people are around because I suffer from chemical depression that no one truly understands. I truly feel isolated from others and I have spent so much time alone I do not think I will ever recover from this. Calling people names and making broad statements about people who suffer from depression is mean and hearing those I consider friends to make those comments is very hurtful. Its easy to talk about something you have no idea about and give opinions, but unless you have suffered from depression you really have no idea how devastating it can be to your life. I am a shell of the person I used to be and depression is slowly pushing me towards suicide. I am just tired of living in pain, being alone and just existing in this world. Everyday is a challenge to me.
