I have read what this so called spokesperson of the insurgents - TopicsExpress

I have read what this so called spokesperson of the insurgents said. It is pure rubbish. He has no rank or authority to speak on behalf of the group or enforce discipline within their ranks. I have said it before and I am saying it again, there was no dialogue with the group. It was a deceptive monologue by government agents. The Hassan Tukur who represented the Federal Government during the talks lacks sufficient authority or credibility to speak for the Government. He was the one Dr Datti accused of leaking the secrets of their earlier efforts which stalled an earlier more genuine dialogue with the group. He is too involved in dirty politics especially in his home state of Adamawa to be focused on anything useful. Moreover, he is a Northerner and this government has no respect for any Northerner no matter how highly placed. Tell me the worth of even the Vice President who pays courtesy call on Edwin Clark, a senile and misguided ordinary citizen. Another snag is that Ahmadu said Shekau is not dead. FG said they killed him. What happens if he eventually surfaces and says he has the final authority? Will they now enter into an agreement with a ghost? Remember the last time President Jonathan said the group is faceless and that he cannot dialogue with ghosts, now he is forced to because Shekau is dead and only Shekau has final authority. The spokesman said the Chibok girls are fine, the picture of them we saw way back at the start of the abduction saga showed them in hijabs as converts. Will that be fine with their parents and community? And giving the fact that both the insurgents and our soldiers use women as war booty are we assured that our girls have not been defiled? Who will buy into this grand deception? We live in the front lines and we feel the pains more than other Nigerians and so we cannot be easily deceived. Yesterday the insurgents struck in my state of Adamawa. The soldiers intensified their road blocks thereby causing severe hardships even in Yola. So, who is observing the ceasefire? All we know is that those who switched on the political BH have decided to switch it off. But is that enough? Hmm! Deya ris God wo! Ahmad Sajoh
