I have recapitulated history after 1945 and can not see any evidence that western european or USA have attacked soviet/russia or let russian speaking come to harm. On the other hand soviet/russia have attacked citizens of western europe (east Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine) . In addition Brezjnev and Soviet started the war in Afghanistan 1979. A terrible war with over 1 million civilian killed and 8 million displaced. So my opinion is that russian scare for the world around is misplaced, but the world have all reason to be scared of Putin and Russia. I have communicated with a russian citizen on VK and they does even know the truth, they are fed manipulated and misleading information and history. Russian war in Afghanistan is in history described as a galant and humanitarian aid from soviets side. And even worse in russian history books it is described as a magnificent victory for the soviet troops. Amazing!!!!
