I have recently sent out a ton of friend requests. I am not needy, lol. But I am beginning an informative campaign about what parents can do about common core... private school, public school, and home school. It will show up in every students life in one way or another! I am starting to inform all about the MADISON COUNTY MS FREE group. We are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and tax paying citizens concerned about federal involvement in our kids classrooms! MS FREE- MS Families Restoring Excellence in Education. That excellence includes local control, high standards locally chosen, and strong parental involvement without high-stakes testing and developmentally inappropriate standards such as common core. We are in communication with law makers and seek to have the laws protect parental rights advocating for their kids! January 6 there will be a huge meeting at the state Capitol * save the date!
