I have returned from my grocery shopping trip to Savannah and have just now got online to see what kind of comments were made at my post. I am not at all surprised that so many of you agree with or at least liked my comments. How many people in this town has the guts to boycott every gas pump and grocery store or shop in this town for one week? Probably not enough that it would do any good but I understand the principal of supply and demand and I also know what a monopoly is. I need someone to explain why gas is $3.12 and anywhere from 20 to 30 cents per gallon more 35 miles closer to the tanks in Savannah where all the gas in Southeast Georgia comes from. I didnt get to be 72 years old by being stupid but this challenges my intelligence right to the brim. I have a lot of friend in these businesses but no one will make an effort to explain to me. SORRY, I AM JUST FED UP WITH THE BROTHER-IN-LAW SYNDROME THAT MAKES UP GLENNVILLE, GA. AND THIS IS AND HAS BEEN MY HOME MOST ALL MY LIFE! OK, of the soap box for this night.
