I have sad news for those who know me or have become my friend over the years. If anyone knows me, has hiked, biked, backcountry skied, anything, you know for the last 14 years, Zoie has been right by my side. From doing my first solo 14er up dead dog couloir to helping me train for for my first trail marathon this year. Shes been there. Climbing with me every winter up at berthoud pass to mountain biking some of the best single track in this state. Shes been with me. But as of tomorrow at 11am, she will be going to the place that will give her endless powder runs and amazing wild flowers on the best single track she will ever see. She will be missed by Me, my wife, her one and only crazy sister Kayden that helped her stay young and beautiful for the last 6 years. The one wish I had during this whole process of seeing something destroy her body was for her to meet my son and in my heart, I know she was so proud of me. Bringing him home she was an instant mother and I could feel the love she had for him and for her parents. Zoie, We will miss you every day the sun comes up and every night when we kissed you goodnight.
