I have seen a quite number of remark made by some uninformed populace of this nation on social media and other outlets concerning Bishop David Oyedepo asking God to open the gate of hell on the opposition party (APC). As if that wasnt enough, I saw anther version on sahara news that said Bishop Oyedepo told his members to slaughter anyone that looks like terrorist. It is quite unfortunate to see that our media houses has lost the tenets of journalism. I was at the 3rd Service which double as our covenant day of empowerment in concluding our annual 21 days fasting and prayer season. And that was the same service GEJ attended. I stand here to challenge anyone that said Bishop made that utterance to produce the video on this link especially owner of twitter handle @ogundamisi (Kayode Ogundamisi) that reported this on twitter. I saw some people cursing Bishop for that matter; that sounds so ridiculous anyway, because you cant curse anyone God has blessed. Some people said that Bishop was doing that for money, that also sounds extremely insane, Living Faith Church Worldwide is an epitome of prosperity, a dangerously wealthy commission. For the information of the readers, the church has never held any fundraising events (such as launching and fund raising of xyz amount of money) since inception and we members are not under any financial pressure to contribute at all. IT IS FORBIDDEN IN LIVING FAITH CHURCH TO EVEN PRESSURIZE ANY MEMBER TO CONTRIBUTE OR EVEN PAY OFFERING OR TITHE (e.g things like men should pay x amount and women should pay y amount is totally forbidden). There is no government money both past and present in LFC. So, how come it is because of money the church is now lobbying around a politician? What will you give to Bishop that he doesnt have? Car, airplane, mansion, money or what? The fact remains no mortal man or government can finance the minutest of the project going on in any branch of LFC. Please I am waiting for Kayode Ogundamisi and any other media agents to post the video asap. And for all the misguided element, try to make your research next time before posting opinion or whatever.
