I have seen a video clip this morning from a chap called Rich Piana,dont know much about him ,big lad,good ink,got a lot to say for himself and the clip is about fitness ruining the bb industry ,which is a little confused from the onset.The point being that he seems to think that bodybuilders are some sort of elite athletes and they should all be paid like musicians according to Rich because they are the product and promoters are greedy bastards in general.Well first of all the comparison is ridiculous,musicians command enormous amounts of money because they are generally talented and millions of people all around the world pay to listen to them and pay to see them so in case nobody has realised BB is a very minority cult sport ,interperated by joe public as drug pumped and fuelled strange people.Comparing BB to high paid footballers etc and other sportsmen is bollocks and its never going to happen.For the record Rich I have been plugging and slogging away at promoting BB for a good few years now because I enjoy it and I run gyms not just for bodybuilders but fitness people as well.So tell me where do you think the money comes from to put a fantastic event on let alone give prize money.I assume Rich is talking about the IFBB the very people who attempt to destroy the rest of the bodybuilding world if you you dont come under their banner thats greedy and yet he is a part of it.I have got a good idea instead of stirring up a shit storm about how hard done by bodybuilders are leave the security and protection of the people You are wrapped around and actually do something about it just like did,that is why Im top of the game,most BB shows are still pretty crap poorly organised events.....hello .? if you want to be paid for bring a handsome ,hard inked muscle beast then you have to do more than moan I did,a tad deluded in my humble opinion.As for greedy,give it a try and see if you have got any money left after you have put on a spectacular.As for the pro ranks shall we say attached to the ifbb,Wayne de Melia couldnt do it when he left the sanctuary of Weider.Do I think the Ifbb are greedy of course they are thats why its so F@@@@ up in their world.
