I have seen this happen in Central New York State. I find it disturbing that we have neighbors that have large farms and all they grow is what we call Welfare Corn, where they grow acre after acre of corn and let it rot in the field and collect a check from the Federal government for not bring it to market. These same families are completely dependent on EBT/SNAP food stamp program. We were around in September (Just before the Govt shut down) when EBT processing servers were down and folks could not get food for their families. It is the beginning of some thing much dire since folks that should know how to grow food, dont and those who dont farm at all are totally enslaved by Big Agra.
