I have so been that person, the one who wears busy like a badge of honor. But not anymore. A few years ago, when we decided to drastically downsize our belongings and move to a smaller place, I also decided to consciously eradicate the busy. Do things still get crazy sometimes? Sure. But I no longer blame it on being busy -- I recognize that its the result of choices Ive made. This has been such a life-changing shift for me, so this Motherlode piece really hit home.
