I have so loved reading your thoughts on home. Like so many of you, Im a homebody. A nester. If I had 2 weeks to live I would return here. Funny, this article touched me because for the past year Ive been thinking about exactly these questions while writing The Long Way Home. About home being both a place and a feeling. Belonging. Its external and internal. And when the two meet and match, we find peace. So incredibly potent, the search for and sometimes the defense of, home. And so your thoughts and feelings mean so much to me. Thank you for opening your internal home to me. I like what youve done with your living room.
