I have some chinese & japanese friends here on facebook. And what strikes me about them, is they everything that any of them share, is liked by all of them. It is a sense of community and support that leaves no place for doubt. Ive always struggled to understand how i am supposed to whimsically choose which friends to like and support, and which friends not. And it is nice to see that every chinese or japanese post is liked by at least 50 people. It seems that for them to be united is as natural as breathing. Wheras amongst my western community i notice that some of us get 20 likes, some of us 2 and some of us none at all. Almost like we have to compete to enjoy what should be a natural feeling of community and support. Im surz this is a difference in conditioning and not in the actual heart of the people. But i cant help but feel, that the asian way is the right way.
