I have some concern about the teaching that God is the One on trial in the Sanctuary Message of Scripture. Yes, God said that we are His witnesses, and the universe His jury. But, the defense is not the only side that calls witnesses or appeals to the jury!! Lucifer broke the law, was put on trial, gathered witnesses/co-conspirators to his side by bribing them. Yes, he makes counter charges to distract from the fact that HES THE ONE ON TRIAL (a common illegal defense tactic). Satan Charged by God with crimes, his human helpers are under investigation/hearings for their being accessory to the crimes--meaning they also are suspects, with Satan ready to back up and accuse them as such. Christ acts as plaintiff, lawyer, and judge. We have all helped Satan and must all be investigated. Our supporting the Prosecution against Satan will not put Jesus on trial for us, though He acts in our defense. Christ is never a real suspect, but He will be vindicated! Think about it.
