I have some great news to share!!! The Equine Rescue Network Advisory Board has been created and I have been asked and accepted to be one of 5 members on the Board. The Board is a cross section of groups across the country who predominantly use social media to do outreach, education and save horses. The group was created to collaboratively face challenges and share successes to bring consistency and efficiency to the process of saving slaughter bound horses. This will take some time to get up and running but I foresee great things happening. If you havent already, give EquineRescueNetwork a like on facebook. Also visit equinerescuenetwork. This website has a wealth of information and dont forget to click on the microchipping tab at the top of the website and give your horse a microchip for Christmas, it could one day save its life!!!
