I have something amazing to share. Yesterday on Jungle Red Writers I wrote about my memories of my mother dying in Australia at Christmastime and how they have tinged my Christmasses ever since. Today I am putting decorations away and as I walk through the garage I find a map on the floor. It is a map of Tookley, Australia and on it in my mothers handwriting is This is my house. Honestly that garage floor has been swept umpteen times in the past fifteen years. And Id swear it wasnt there when I took the decorations out. So I have to take it as a sweet message from my mum.
