I have such a great support system here. I couldnt be more grateful. Its hard living away from family, thank goodness my mom June Storey & my Dad call & visit me all the time. I am grateful for being a military brat because it has taught me that your friends can be your family, if you surround yourself with great people. I have some outstanding people in my life. It was lovely to have Miss Margaret McCaskill with me the last two days to cheer me up after a long week, you are our family!!! I am so grateful to Jessica Horn & Thomas Horn for letting her stay the night with your wonderful girls since we had a full house. You all are great people. I am a bit bummed that it was too cold to take Liz Berry, Kathy Hull Carter, Aimee Mills Faught Kelly Thibodeau Cyr kids to Sweet Seasons but I know we will all get together soon. I miss you all & I miss seeing all those kiddos. Thank you too my dearest friend Marilyn Lanham for coming over every night to make me smile & helping with me with dinner last night. I dont know what I would do without your friendship. You have always been there for Jonathan Tinney & I, & that has meant so much to us. Thank you Hollye Byrne Roblyer for your prayers & teasing John about Bama. It cheers him up, you are the sweetest kindest person I know for always checking on me. I wont hold being an Auburn fan against you ;) Thank you Martha Tye for sending me funny pics of you & Purple & for cheering me up through texts since you are hours away. I miss my dear friend Rocio Tia who had to leave for law school, but I know I will see you again soon. We have such great memories that keep me smiling everyday & thank you for constantly checking up on me. I cant wait to have lunch again with 3 of my favorite ladies Kathleen Williams Villines, Tracey Tillman Burgess, Leslie Ward. I miss working with you all!!! I have some great work friends where Im at now. Neeta Soni, you are my sunshine, you are just as beautiful on the inside as the outside, & I am lucky to have you & lovely Wenwen Liu, another sweet soul, to have to go out with once in awhile. Thank you Juels Rain for the hugs & words of support everytime I see you & Scott Singletary for being such a caring person. I have really great students that make me smile every time I see them. That means you Miss Ella Jones & many more that would make this post even longer. Just know you give me the energy to come in & keep working because I couldnt be more proud of all of you. Thank you Sophia Shannon for always checking on me, not only are you a close friend, you are the older sister that has always watched out for me, & helped raise me. There are many others that have been there for us. I can go on forever if I mention them all. Some of them dont want me to mention how much they have helped us & been there for us. They are so humble, although I wish I could list them because they deserve the recognition too! I think a huge reason we have a lot of our great friends is because of John. He keeps me grounded & sane so people want to be around us...lol. He knows I enjoy having my friends & family around me & he makes sure I get that time. Even if it means I cant help out as much around the house. This is why John is such an important part of my familys family because they know when they arent here he takes great care of me. My family is also grateful. I have turned my friends into my family. They know they are an important part of my life. I love you all very much.
