I have taken donkey years without writing on my wall. One of the reasons why is that I have been busy. My new job requires me to work under pressure. I call my job a God given job because I never got a helped by any Muhima or any Muhinda. I got the job because the Most High answered my prayer: I used to believe that the story of my life was mine to keep and that it would be enough just to tell it to my children, if God gave an opportunity to live long enough !!! I have agreed with what Jackie Kennedy once said that not everyone needed to unveil the myth of their life by revealing it in a book This is a quotation from none other than Janet Museveni Kataaha, the first lady. due to my busy schedule, I have taken long to do some reading! Nevertheless, a friend, brother and comrade by names of Rutinampora Kajungu, who fought and contributed greatly to the bush war, lent me Janets book, and even warned me to handle it with maximum care!! In his own words he told me in Runyankore: Nakweshengyereza akatabo okakwategye. Nkaketiza ahari mukyala Kakwano. Alice He added: Waba watandikyire kukashoma torikuheza For my non runyankore speakers, I voluntarily and willingly translate: : I beg oh, handle this book nicely. I borrowed it from madame Kakwano, Alice. When you start reading it, you will not stop. Alice is and has been a close friend to Janet first, Lady now. Janet, wrote a book called my lifes journey. It is a book that has changed my mind set. A book I believe that not only Ugandans should read but ALL AFRICANS & even well wishing whites. It is so inspiring, replenishing and rejuvenating both spiritually and physically. I appeal to all my friends to buy and read this book. Since most Ugandans have a poor reading culture, I will get a few excerpts posted on my facebook. Oh my God! I have even come to believe, after reading this WONDERFUL BOOK to get closer to my creator. There are many words that I have captured and that have metamorphose me into a God loving person, more than ever before! IN HER BOOK SHE SAYS: GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART, AND HE THE MOSTR HIGH CAN MAKE YOU WHAT YOU HAVE NEVER BELIEVED TO BE. I hope I will not bore you but more often than not, I will be quoting Janets book. To give you a sample, her first chapter is called IRENGA, the village where her parents home is situated. I will write for you to read her first chapter and paragraph: IN THE OVER 60 YEARS OF MY LIFE, I HAVE CALLED MANY PLACES HOME. MANY OF THOSE YEARS MY FAMILY AND I WERE REFUGEES EXILED FROM UGANDA BECAUSE OF INSTABILITY AND WAR. WHAT I LEARNT FROM ALLOUR YEARS OF WANDERING IS THAT HOME IS WHERE THE HEART REALLY IS I will relay more from her book for those who believe in reading! Let me conclude with one of the sentences from her book, on page 65: the say that when God closes a door, He opens a window
