I have this on my heart this morning and I feel like I need to share. Yesterday while at UNC I met a mom and her son Michael. Michael has just been diagnosed with Cancer and it was his second visit to the clinic. His mom had an all to familiar blank, scared and still in disbelief look on her face. I know and understand all to well because just last year I saw that same look in the mirror. I do not know Michaels last name but I am asking for prayers for this young man and his family. Cancer does not discriminate. If you ever start feeling like your kids are driving you crazy or your tired of all the running around you have to do with or for them....visit a childrens cancer clinic or childrens hospital... it will QUICKLY sober you to reality and how fortunate you and your family are.. we are Blessed and time is something I no longer take for granted. Be blessed today and pray for these families fighting this ugly beast called cancer!!!
