I have this tamarind I have been growing in the ground...I have - TopicsExpress

I have this tamarind I have been growing in the ground...I have airlayered the top so under the airlayer it has lots of branches, that can not be seed. I am wondering what to do with it... airlayer just the top part and use it as a tree? Maybe remove the airlayer and plant again in the ground over a tile, to fatten some more the nebari and do some prestyling? Trunk chop it while in the ground and grow a new leader? Or develop it the way it is, after checking the nebari after digging it? I have been chopping the roots every two month in sections 4-5 cm away from the trunk, so I dont expect too bad a nebari. It was sort of on higher ground so I removed all the soil around it and put blocks around it. Love the bark on this tamarind. Advise please...what would you do in this situation?
