I have this thought and it is inspired by selfish motivations but I also think it is a good thought. During festivals, I want artists to do some really randomly timed shows (say midday on a Thursday or midnight Saturday) specifically so that artists performing every night can see each others work. Can we make this a thing? Cant get your venue at that time? Im sure Tux Cat or a friend with a big living room might be up for hosting the low-fi version. If you arent spending money to actually perform it, and if it is just limited to people who cant see it because of their own shows, do it for donations or barter or ticket swap. Baked goods or books or pot plants are legal tender in such situations. Can this be a thing? I want this to be a thing. I want to see your art and I am working six nights a week, three shows a night for the duration of the festival. Im sure Im not alone. Lovelove
