I have thought of you often since the close of our 2014 season. I - TopicsExpress

I have thought of you often since the close of our 2014 season. I just needed a little time to get some rest. Running back to back races really is hard on us as well as on you guys. As I reflect back on 2014, I wonder where time went. It seems like yesterday that the season started. We certainly had a good year. When I say we, I mean you as well. There was no one person to dominate any class. Anyone who entered an event had the opportunity to win. On behalf of the staff at Liberty Raceway Park, we congratulate each of you for making 2014 a year that will be hard to repeat. Each of you is awesome. It came down to the last race of the season to claim the title of CHAMPION in many classes. These last few races were exciting to say the least. I want to congratulate the following for achieving the ultimate goals: NORTH CAROLINA DIRT SERIES Clone Red Plate Kaige Biscuit Williams Cameron Murphy Blaze Lyman Jr. Sportsman 1 Camden Thomas Carter Langley Ryan Joyner Jr. Sportsman 2 Lake Price Kyle Campbell Preston Curtis Jr. Restricted 3 Caleb Porter Allen Michael Smith Camden Gullie Jr. Sportsman Champ Carter Langley Camden Thomas Lake Price Teen Champ Camden Gullie Danielle Ruggiero Allen Michael Smith Clone Lite Daniel Ridenhour Colby Horner Bryan Fallen Clone Medium Devin Dowell Colby Horner Ralph Williams Clone Heavy Ralph Williams Colby Horner Devin Dowell Clone 400 Adam Clayton Brent Lewis Izral Daniels Clone 425 Jordan Brown Izral Daniels Brent Lewis Sr. Champ 410 Mitchel Dowdy Daniel Ruggiero Bruce Benson Sr. Champ 425 Tra Decker Anna Davidson Mitchell Dowdy Animal Heavy Daniel Ridenhour Ashton Harmon Tyler Johnson Animal Medium Daniel Ridenhour Tyler Johnson Ashton Harmon Limited Andy Boahn Zack Burrow Robby Yow Stock Heavy Flathead Daniel Ridenhour Anna Davidson Joe Galloway LIBERTY LOCAL POINT SERIES Clone Red Plate Kaige Biscuit Williams Nicholas Sykes Cameron Murphy Jr. Sportsman 1 Carter Langley Michael Bumgarner Camden Thomas Jr. Sportsman 2 Chris Phillips Gavin Drye Cole Brown Jr. Restricted 3 Lite Caleb Porter Chase Murphy Dale Durham Jr. Sportsman Champ Chase Cunningham Camden Thomas Carter Langley Teen Champ Camden Gullie Luke Davidson Griffin Huneycutt Clone Lite Daniel Ridenhour Keith Brame Travis Jones Clone Medium Ralph Williams Daniel Ridenhour Keith Brame Clone Heavy Ralph Williams Daniel Ridenhour Hunter Smith Clone 400 Tony Belk Izral Daniels Dustin Durham Clone 425 Izral Daniels William Vargo Brent Lewis Sr. Champ 410 Tra Decker Anna Davidson Terry Idol Sr. Champ 425 Tra Decker Eric Rendleman Terry Idol Limited Zach McNeill Joe Galloway Lori Moore Stock Heavy Flathead Anna Davidson Daniel Ridenhour Kayla Skinner 2015 will begin before we know and I want to recap on a few things that have already been posted. The 2015 schedule was posted in August and is listed on our website, daytonaofdirt. This is the location of our track information. Mr. Eric Rendleman works the website for us and does a fine job. Tommy and I are tossing ideas around and we feel we have come up with a few good ideas for 2015. For the Local LRP program, we are thinking about starting up a few new classes. The ideas we have is maybe starting a Ladies Class, a Stock Medium class along with the Stock Heavy class giving the flatheads 2 classes in which to compete, and an Amateur class. The rules for these classes will be discussed at our banquet which is to be held on February 15, 2015 at the Sunset Theater in Asheboro, NC starting at 2:00 with a floating meal and awards presentation beginning around 4:00. There is a admission fee of $10.00 per person with children age 6 and under free. If you are interested and want to have correct information as what to expect this upcoming season, you may want attend the banquet. This banquet is for the NORTH CAROLINA DIRT SERIES, LIBERTY LOCAL POINTS SERIES, and anyone else who would like to attend. The NCDS had a good show in 2014 for its first year back. The support you all showed for this series was great. Tommy and I were not sure how you would welcome such a series, but you did welcome it with open arms. If you continue the show of support as you did this past year, the NCDS can only get better and better. I know we have a few ripples to iron out, but believe me; we will be ironing on them until they are smooth. I hope you are looking forward to coming and racing with us at Liberty Raceway Park. We are looking forward to seeing you.
