I have to admit that I havent experienced any of this in my life, and I havent missed it one iota. For me, being a sailor has provided all the thrills and excitement Ive ever needed....and then some. I have met people madder than this and Im still friends with most of them. The drinking games and eating competitions Ive featured in have far outweighed the excitement seen in this video. The countries I have visited and what I have done in those countries will forever satisfy my urge for living life to the full. Have you ever met the Egyptian Mick Jagger? Or wondered how many more Chickens the Gully Gully Man will pull out of his robes? Have you been to a yearly rugby match not expecting to know anyone and seeing mates you havent seen for years, and I mean YEARS? Have you laid down and looked up at the Southern Hemisphere stars, whilst all around you is just ocean and nothing else? All alone in your little part of this beautiful planet. Well I have and it was great, all of it. Thank you Royal Navy and thank you to all my serving and ex-serving friends. I am part of something only others dream about but with all that said, I would have liked to surf down that Tsunami...GEN.
