I have to be honest right now...my next chemo treatment is coming up, and I REALLY dont want to do this anymore...I know...Ive only had 2 treatments, so Im a wimp...I just hate how it puts your life on hold... But I must tell you...I am so very thankful for several ladies at church this past Sunday...see, I was pretty open to a few of them about these anxious feelings Im having...one of these ladies (who has already had chemo) hugged me and prayed over me...this is why its so important to be a part of a church body...how comforting to know that I can weep in front of others, and not be ashamed of the struggles Im going thru...now you might be thinking I dont need to go to church to be encouraged. Ive got friends that I can call on any time. And youre right...you dont need a church body to encourage you...BUT, will they pray and intercede for you when youre weak and need strength from others? Will they provide encouragement by reminding you what Gods Word says?!?! For me, that is what the church body is and should be for believers...
