I have to come to the conclusion, after going to Catholic school - TopicsExpress

I have to come to the conclusion, after going to Catholic school from grade one thru 8, that I may not entirely view God in the same way as others. My religion is very confusing in many ways. First off, I grew up in Detroit a block up from Greater Grace Temple and not only enjoyed, at that time, Elder Ellis and his teachings, but I was in a Catholic school, had a successful dad only 19yrs older than me and, to top it off, Im baptized Protestant and remain so till this day. Hey, all roads point to one God for me. As a young Detroiter, I think I always liked that Elder Ellis was once a bus driver...yeah, I liked that. Not trying to minimize my ancestors or my own intelligence, but I think blue collar. In retrospect, God gave two families a gift. I think maybe God gave that blessing in an odd 3 mathematically? Sorry, even numbers dont calculate with me spiritually. It may be in 5s or 10s? Im trying to figure this out...lmao! But seriously. In denomination, my buddy and I with our mothers are an even number. Dad, Preston and Nate JC Sr. keeps it even in my personal equation. For reasons I will never divulge, Elder Ellis keeps my odd number theory in tact. Ive concluded that Im an odd number mathematically. Yep, I can live with that because it makes sense in my mind. It works well with this life that I continue to live. Thats my story and Im sticking to it.
