I have to report an attempted laptop murder! Lately I have been watching an incredible red tail hawk family on the Cornell Lab of Ornithology website and have just fallen in love. I have been spending hours, day and night, sometimes not even sleeping or eating or doing much else as I watch their beautiful story unfold and waiting for the 3 baby hawks to fledge. My cats have been less than amused, doing everything to distract me and pull me away from my new obsession. This morning, I think they got desperate. I came out and found that my laptop had been pushed off the desk, just a fraction of an inch from the floor, only saved from certain death by power cords which stopped its demise.
