I have to say, Im impressed to see Jersey City BOE working to pass a strict pay-to-play policy. I believe questionable actions have occurred in Mount Hollys other public bodies, and given that the States pay-to-play laws do not govern school boards, its my opinion (and should not be seen as to be the opinion of the Board) that Mt. Holly BOE should also adopt such a policy. I intend to bring this up at our next Board meeting on November 20th, 7pm, under New Business. Of course, there are procedures for the Board to adopt such a policy, but I intend to try to get that ball rolling, with Jersey City as a guide. (Whod have thought.)
