I have to share something amazing that occurred tonight. Actually it started on Friday late afternoon. This past Friday on the way home I stopped at a couple of stores. I had $9 in my left front pocket where I keep my cellphone when it is not on the charger or in my hand. ;) When I got to the grocery store to pick up a few things I got out to the car and realized that I had forgotten an item. I put the groceries I had purchased, locked up the SUV, and went back inside to get it. I thought I would pay for it with the cash instead of using my debit card. But I could not find it in my wallet or any of my pockets. I looked a bit in the SUV in the passenger seat and in the console to no avail. So I just chocked it up as lost and prayed that the person who found it really needed it. Fast forward to this evening. I changed out my cats litter box only to find the box sitting beside the litter box was empty. So, I had to go to the Family Dollar store a few blocks away. While there I went and looked at some disposable pie pans for some pies I am going to bake for a get together at work next week. I also got a couple of pans to make some yeast rolls. The pie pans/lids were unbundled but stacked two pans and two lids. I picked them up and restuck the tape that was supposed to hold them together. When I got to the checkout, I told the cashier that I thought the pie pans were priced for each pie pan instead of as a set of 2. She checked and found out I was correct. She thanked me for being honest. I told her that was just the way I am. I added that the pies probably would have flopped and I couldnt have eaten them anyway knowing that I had probably stolen one of the pans. I went outside and got in the SUV for the third time since Friday. I looked down beside the front drivers seat and there was my $9. I had not seen it the other two times I had gotten into the SUV. Thank you, YAH! And yes, I do need it.
