I have to share something that happened today......Ive never been more proud of Kai! A reminder for those who know Kai & a little background for those who dont - Kai can be a real BIATCH & tends to bully dogs (except her Daddy Dog, LuKa - unsure if shell ever bond like that again). Today while I was securing the trash cans next to the back yard gate, I didnt realize the gate was ajar & the latch wasnt secure when Kai saw a dog walking past the house & went running down the driveway stiff & alert - all body language indicating she was in full bully mode. I yelled (full on panic mode!) for her to come now & she stopped & returned to me!!!!!!! Ive never had the opportunity to test her recall in the 10 years Ive had her in a real panic situation. So proud of my girl - she never ceases to amaze me. Once in the yard, she ran to the other side of the house to bark - she was still in bully mode.
