I have to share this beautiful story with everyone that brought tears to my eyes today. Rich came home from work and said he had heard a conversation between a couple women he worked with talking about their kids and step parents and how they dont get along. The typical youre not my dad etc. comments plus some other major issues. He said it made him think about how lucky he was that Jami and Alaina accepted him into their lives and never gave him that much grief. ( of course there were a few squabbles). It inspired him to text both the girls and tell them how much he loved and appreciated them for accepting him into their lives. They each texted him back with beautiful messages that made me cry. I am so thankful that we have him in our lives and that my girls appreciate all he has done for them over the years. He is truly my hero and always will be.
