I have to share this story with everyone. I cannot stop laughing at what happened today. I had a date today with someone who invited me to his bosses house for Thanksgiving dinner and a party afterwards. Everyone was decked out and I think I looked pretty dressed up and wore something classy but not too over the top. This lady came up to me and asked me if I was wearing a Ralph Lauren dress and I said no it was a Jean Pierre Denis dress. She said she never heard of him before and I said well he is an exclusive designer for some of the major stars in Hollywood but does some pieces for Saks Fifth Avenue. I wanted to laugh out loud but I didnt. She came across so snobby that I couldnt resist the opportunity. I had so much fun to see the reaction of this womens face. Actually he was not a real designer but someone I use to date when I was in high school and I always loved his name and never forgot it. The dress I got at Kohls dept. store. My date loved it and said I had a great sense of humor. LOL :D
