I have to share this tonight of what God shared with me today and made me realize that it is not so bad after all. I love driving anyway and when I need to go on my trips it lets me reflect on things and think about issues, past events, future events, etc. It also lets me view society in general and the different areas where people live. I know we are all guilty of doing this: complaining that we cannot have this or that; we cannot buy this or that; this isnt working out; we have no food or money; and the list goes on. But, when I got out on my trips, such as today, I witnessed some things that put things in perspective. I saw a man walking up the road with a grocery cart filled with bags of probably all the things he owns and his clothes he wore were not that great; a woman was waiting for a bus that was wearing clothes that should be retired (if you get my drift); houses that were ran down and more. I thought to myself, Wow, I have been complaining about all this stuff going on in my life and I am actually blessed. It could be a lot worse like No roof over our head; no food at all; but, to go through a dumpster or finding it somewhere; no clothes; no vehicles; no animals; no land at all; no money coming in at all; and the list goes on. Then tonight when coming back, I stopped at moms and could not stay long because there was a bad storm coming in according to the weatherman on the radio. Hurried home to get things done. Skies got black, started light raining, and thundering. Nothing else happened. I said, Really. I then asked myself, What am I thinking? It could have hit and flooded my stalls (if it got as bad as what they said it was) and could be having to scoop and unflood stalls and filling dirt in, wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow all night. So, again, I was blessed again. Just an eye opening day.
