I have to vent for a moment. I am very annoyed with the doctors about tomorrow. Summ had 6 tests lined up for the day, well they decided to call this afternoon and add another to the list. The first test is for her eyes at 9:30 and this facility doesnt have a parking garage, only valet. So because of this we will be parking at Kosair and walking a few blocks. By 11 we have to be back at Kosair to register and she will have a chest xray at 11:15. EKG is scheduled at 11:45 and an echo at 12:15. Then at 1 she will have a Pulmonary function test in which is scheduled right after lunch and she cant eat too much before, no caffeine or choc 12 hrs before and should not be exposed to cold air or exercise 2 hrs before. So this works how since we will have to walk her to the first appointment and possibly while walking back be put in the 2 Hr time frame, plus walking is exercise?! Then we have to leave Kosair and either drive to another parking garage or walk there to have a bone density test at 2. That would have concluded our day but they decided we need to go to Nortons hospital OMO for a blood work up and finally we will either walk back to kosair or a building over to leave. The walking isnt a big deal until you have a 6 year old that is exhausted from having tests run on her all day long. Lets also talk about the fact that I received her schedule from Cincinnati Childrens hospital today to begin her work up for her transplant at their hospital which is NOT happening. We were assured by our doctors that this matter was handled when we made the decision to stay at Kosair and even though they are in constant contact with the doctors at Cincinnati childrens hospital, this never came up. The coordinator from there informed me today that the case shows that it is being handled there and I need to inform out doctors to make sure it is switched back. Really? I am exhausted just thinking about it all.
