I have to wonder how far into the abyss will the political classes sink in their determination to undermine not just the threat of new political parties, but also democracy. There is no doubt that UKIP are the front runners, with the Greens offering yet another choice, and the established political masters who have always appealed to one tribe or the other, feel their comfort zones under attack. Yes people change their political views, if only in the political circus, it’s nothing to do with political treason, or tribal voting, people can be complicated. Yet the new political forces gathering, seem to be vulnerable to political nomads, or may be the problem is in the speed to accelerate growth, in order to offer the masses a political voice. Or is it more sinister than that, has the voice of discontent from the masses now found a political force that has the establishment worried. For so long tribal voting and the reluctance to change has produced safe seats, and unmoveable politicians, none of which has been conducive to real freedom for the masses. Political spin, is of the professional politicos in residence, they along with the media have crawled along the deep dark bottom of societies waste, grabbing at the wriggling detritus, only to throw it into the light. So the question is, do the masses become the Turkeys voting for Christmas, and like the gold fish in a bowl keep going round, but not remembering they have already been there. The opportunity is to not meet with Sage or Onion, even to swim in a bigger bond, the politicos and their comfortable friend are going to use every dirty trick their selected education taught them, this could be just one.
