I have watched the interview of Dr. Khaing Khaing Soe of Central Census Commission (CCC), also Senior Officer of Department of Population. 1) She is the person who convince the CCC to include question No. 8, (Ethnicity) in the Census Questions. 2) In the video clop uploaded on the 29th March, she mentioned that identifying oneself as Rohinga is Against The Law, and could be arrested. However, as they are the people and no willingness to arrest, and Designed not to arrest for the census is for the people. 3) This interview shows there is inconsistency of CCC. It is also controversial to the Press Release of the UNFPA, and the previous release of Department of Population. It is also contradicting all the education materials (Printing, Video clips, Media Campaigns), as well as Guidelines for Enumerators, and even with Census Law, which mentioning Everybody have the right to express freely and safely. 4) Is that still in line with Terms of Reference of the CCC?????? 5) What will be the action if Central Census Commission break the Terms of Reference and cross the line?????
