I have worked with Serena as an UBC Orientation Squad Leader in the past year. During training camp and throughout her term as a Squad Leader, she demonstrated exceptional ability to inspire others and to lead from behind. Serena was also able to relate to a diverse group of students and students leaders as well. Her instinctive drive to improve student life, coupled with her experience as SUS Vice-President External, AMS Representative and Chair of the Student Life & Communication Committee (SLCC), will allow her to excel in an executive position on the AMS.
