I havent been able to do any type of exercise beyond walking in over a year (knee, heart, chemotherapy and cancer-related issues); last night, my loved and beloved mentee, colleague and friend, Manuel Ugarte Jr., Esq., and I decided to have a Guys Night Out - wings, bowling and beer. By the fourth game, I didnt think I was going to make it - not make it to the games end - make it to TODAY. Yep - that CAUTION!!! BEWARE!!! DANGER!!! switch in my head still is out of order... We bowled until just before midnight; since I had been up since 6:00 a.m. preparing for court yesterday morning, it ended up being a looooooooong day... Im hanging in there today (thanks, Chi Charles and Josh Bouldin for checking in on me and letting me do some mentoring!); still some aches and pains...and the neuropathy in my hands and feet made me stumble sometimes and drop the ball sometimes while I was bowling (it was pretty hilarious, though!). And...I won all four games...Manny, though, had THE roll of the night, picking up a 10-pin spare with this WICKED nasty spin...it was pretty freakin AMAZING!
