I havent been on fb much.Something happened last week that hurt me very,very deeply,a pain I havent felt since my mother died. I will not mention any names,but I saw a friend of mine, a woman I have known most of my life.I havent seen her for a few years,she seemed so happy to see me,as I was her. We got around to talking about facebook,she asked me to send her a request, and other people that are long time friends,too.So I sent her and many other people one.I waited days,not one person accepted me. Then I got a private message from my old friend,explaining ( a long message) why she cant accept me. Just reasons- she doesnt like nature,animals,the stars,etc. We can be friends only at church ,but thats all. This woman is also my baptism Godmother. Then,she blocked me.I cancelled all the friend requests. She doesnt want me to be a part of her personal life anymore. This unexpected rejection broke my heart,and this kind of pain for me is very rare and takes me along time to get past. She told others not to accept me as well.I dont know why,but she did. Time heals most wounds,but this will leave a deep scar. Social internet- guess you have to take the good with the bad....
