I havent been the Avatar for long, but Im certain of one thing. If there is anyone who can bring change, it will be someone willing to sacrifice what they care for. Someone who can throw aside their humanity to save others. Someone who is determined to defeat monsters. Someone who will do whatever it takes to do what is right. Sacrifice is the key. Someone who cant sacrifice anything, cant ever change anything. The past Avatars, including myself, have sacrificed what we care for. We have sacrificed our lives to protect our people. I have lost my connection to my past lives. I should feel like a failure, but I dont. Why? Because I am facing a challenge that no other Avatar has faced before. I have been apart of 2 wars and Im currently facing my own. None of the past Avatars can help me now. I am my own guide. But I throughout this journey, I have been supported by my friends, who are now my family. They believe in me. And I believe in myself. I believe that I have and will make the right decisions, even if I have doubts about it in the process. I sacrificed my life during Harmonic Convergence and I am not afraid to sacrifice it again. I created this change, and change created this new world. A new era. It is my duty to restore peace and balance to the world, even if I die trying. I am Korra. I am the Avatar. I am the Change.
