I havent contributed much here in the way of photos. My brother just sent me this one. Im the handsome young lad on the right. My friend Jerry is the other kid. This photo was taken around 1949 or 1950 in front of my building at 1120 Wyatt St., in the West Farms area. The train in the background was going north to 180th St. from the East 177 street station at Tremont and Boston Road. That was years before they made the rail connection to the Dyre Ave train. If you wanted to take the Dyre Avenue train you had to walk across a bridge. We used to call the Dyre Ave Line the dinky train.
