I havent really been on facebook that much recently due to Bobby being hospitalized for 8 days at Vassar Hospital at the end of October. He had been sick for about 9-10 weeks and going to his regular Internist but not getting much better. Finally he was able to see an Infectious Disease Specialist after waiting 5-6 weeks for his appt. w/him. After that appt. the very next morning Bobby was admitted to Vassar Hospital and it was found out that he had been suffering with a heart infection that could have caused him to have a stroke or even sudden death by an infection called Endocarditis. The most frightening part of it was when the Cardiac Surgeon told us he would know if he would need to do heart surgery in the next two days to replace his aortic heart valve if the antibiotic wasnt working. There were a lot of prayers being said that day believe me. So now that he is home and on a total of 8 weeks of IV antibiotics treatments to be finished by him and I and the numerous doctor visits I am catching up with FB friends. Please if you have time say a prayer for Bobby if your his FB friend send him a hello and if not send one anyway!!! It lifts his spirits, his overall health is very, very weak from being so sick but together we will get through this ordeal. I know that our love has brought us so far over the past 39 married years and the past 46 years together as friends we will get through this hardship but every little bit of love and support helps during these times of crisis..Thanks for listening everyone.
