I havent written a personal update in awhile. And Im still not going to discuss some things that are going on now because of the hostility Ive encountered on FB lately. The best news is that MagPis foot has completely healed and she is walking normally. The teat is still healing, and she has gone dry on that side. But her kids are happy and healthy, and she is starting to be more herself again. The other goats are doing great. The black doeling just loves to jump -- even jumping on her moms back fairly often. The two bucklings have been wethered. Eskimo is learning male privilege -- his horns are formidable, and get him everywhere he wants -- if I dont wire gates shut, as I forgot to do last night, he butts em open, as he did this morning. I have videos, but I cant get my camera to talk to this computer so must wait for the power cord for the other computer to arrive. I have not seen the wolf in a while now -- dont know if s/he decided to hunt elsewhere or what. Jack and/or Jackie often spend the night out front which makes me feel safer. The asshole neighbor has not returned as promised (thank Dog!!!!) but the threat is ever present --- hopefully I will be in a safer place very soon but I dont want to discuss it publicly till its done. I visited w/my doctor yesterday who seems determined to get me on metformin, something I am resisting. Anyone know of a connection between needing to sleep NOW suddenly resulting in sleeping for a couple or more hours and blood sugar? It seems lowering my thyroid meds (her idea after 30 years of the same dose) has kicked in a series of recurrent yeast infections and some vision issues. If anyone has knowledge, I could use it. Megan? Steve? For the hell of it, I reduced my love life to songs, one song for each significant guy, and for whatever reason the song seemed appropriate, and regardless of length of relationship.
