I haven’t been able to write before now about Saturday night at the Garden Farm. My heart has been so full that the words have not been there to use. It was termed as my special night and I could not have used a better word. The love, affection, fun and laughter tangible and I need you all to know how much it means to me although I’m not sure I can. Thank you so very much Rachael Scott, Melissa Owers and Ian Staines for the extraordinary discipline and energy not only in organising all of the details, food, leading to but working tirelessly throughout the day, during the evening and afterwards including bringing my gorgeous cake to my home. Thank goodness photographs were taken straight away ;) Thank you so very much to the talented Mr Jonathan Cairns who spontaneously took the stage and brought the whole evening together by not only entertaining a very appreciative audience but by being such a sport and in addition to his self imposed duty Master of Ceremonies calling the Raffle with such humour and aplomb it was a joy to witness. I’m uploading some photographs of my cake. MMMMMmmmmm mmm. Thank you so much for my cake Ruth Syson, Sylvia Malcolm and Andrea Emmerson. I tried to keep some of the carrot cake but it’s gone: the coffee and walnut? Well on its way out. The chocolate part of the cake being the largest has been decimated by my five granddaughters and my children who were all under my roof for the first time. I have never felt so lucky and so very blessed in my entire life as I have this weekend. Thank you for the music provided by a terrific disco Thank you so much both of you for your patience consideration and terrific choice of music. Thank you to my dear friend Joyce Pembroke for singing for us, as usual you were wonderful! Xx Thank you too for the generosity of Tony and Kelly of the Garden Farm. Friends came from afar and I am so honoured. To the selfless strength of my children and a very special thank you to my granddaughter Sophie for having the courage to sing for me in the presence of all those people, you did a terrific job and you made me proud. I hope I did not miss speaking with anyone but if I did please know that I thank you, all of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you too for all the wonderful compliments to all of you who have said on facebook after Saturday, there is nothing I can say other thank you, thank you for your generosity of spirit. Sandi
