I hear, from a Harvard school business professor, that the best leaders, best organizations, exploit and explore… I think, is this the new/old Oregon Trail of monroe doctrine imperialism? Our professor taught a video case from 1898, the oldest Harvard case still being taught, about a Navy lieutenant who created a “better” gun that can kill by the hundreds, a “better” killing machine… I think, what’s better about that? Does he know how many kids get “killed” by this “progress” in East Oakland? Does he know that war, stole the land of the Pilipinos, Cubanos, Boricuas and more? Is it better morally? For whom? When, if ever, is mass murder ok? A colleague said it best, what’s next, will we then learn about a new, better way to build gas chambers? Today, we have an FBI case, that speaks of the CIA… The document we read, the so-called harvard lesson, failed to mention the massive number of bullets that penetrated Fred Hampton’s body… Failed to mention the takeover in Nicaragua, the CIA/FBI coup in Guatemala the mass deportations in the 1930s, 1950s and now, the constant red scare, The fact that the U.S. government is the biggest terrorist in the world but that never made it even to the footnotes or the class discussion so I strategically must tune out and tune in to the freedom fighters who won’t stand idly by who stand up for truth where this well-dressed, polite imperialism will drown you if you let it…. so aquí estamos resistiendo we have one life to live it’s not YOLO but it’s ON YO they let the wrong wetback up in here pero we won’t go down without a fight. . . .
