I heard an MSNBC commentator state the police choked Eric Garner - TopicsExpress

I heard an MSNBC commentator state the police choked Eric Garner to death. Here is the video, judge for yourself. Arrest attempt starts around 1:20, choke hold to take him down at 1:22 or so. Choke hold off by 1:36. A black female police officer appears at 1:48. Someone stated this female was the officer in charge at the scene. BTW, Aaron Dethrage tonight I found the Jon Stewart bit on this... and that is *all* it is, a frickin comedy bit used to indict the American system and help to incite social unrest and riot. Stephen Dethrage and Carly Hope Dethrage I welcome your comments also. Lets tear this country apart, divide ourselves even further, lets destroy property and endanger the lives of our own citizens for what purpose? To further *justice*. Bullshit. I am simply the Fat Dad. I understand I am a simple minded Bible thumping conservative who believes in God and Country in a manner you might find foolish. But my beliefs are based on my complete conviction that there is NO BETTER WAY. I think there is always room for improvement. I think we desperately need quality leadership to bring us to comprehensive discussions and debates on all aspects of our existence as a country. Jon Stewart gets rich tearing the fabric of our country apart. GEES, please dig deeper. Honestly, do you believe the 14 second choke hold on Eric Gardner is what killed him? Do you think the police officer should have been indicted for murder or even manslaughter? Should Gardner have been arrested? I do not know. Was the presence of the large number of police officers a result of previous interaction with him? When it was determined he was to be arrested, what might have been a better way to take him into custody. He stated it stops today and do not put your hands on me before he clearly resisted arrest. What if it were a taser that brought about his death: Garners acute and chronic bronchial asthma, obesity and hypertensive cardiovascular disease were contributing factors, the medical examiner determined. What would have been proper justice in your eyes? And what would Jon Stewart have said about that?
