I heard this at fellowship this morning, and it is resounding with me still...Congress is broken, the last person in Congress to serve in WW2 left congress 2 years ago. He was a person known to serve on both sides of the aisle. When asked upon his departure how he could move so easily form each side of the aisle, he replied with; its easy when youve gone to war with someone, to look past the differences and see the ways we are alike. My prayer today is that we can all begin to see past the differences.
