I hit the thrift shop again ... This is such an addiction. In the last few days, I landed a great wheelchair, self propelling sort that turns on a dime for another, for $20 bucks. The day I picked it up, spotted a nice wine/beverage cooler for another and today I went in to leave a bag and look ... Damn IT! I then spotted a restaurant patio heater, a large one, heavy base and wheels like a dolly for $35.00. There is no tank, but of course I have one already. The top looked a bit tilted, slight half inch ding on pole/vent but I can live with that, just need to tighten the loose screws ... that I can do. Most important was its weight ... all past ones were too light weight; do not want it tipping in a wind gust. I also got another duvet, Perret, Italian label, in white and came with its own cotton case for a buck and a handful of books, Historic Places, Evita of Eva Peron and various other NY Times best seller sorts for the library (I dont have) and a Norman Rockwell Santa plate. Going back tomorrow and take the heater apart, in half so I can get it in my car and remember to bring in another bag of what Is time to re-donate. I will be busy again tonight ... washing and cleaning my bargains. Grand total $43 and change. Cannot stop myself; it is plenty of fun for me ... and work.
