I honestly dont think its fair for a teacher to give you homework every school night and over the weekend. We have lives other than school. And Im not saying this just because Im a teenager in high school. Im saying it as a Jv cheerleader, high school student, Student council member, daughter, granddaughter, sister, volunteer, best friend and girlfriend. They want us to participate in all of these activities and keep our grades up and look at collages and make friends, be good to people, dont be disrespectful. Its hard to be nice and smile at everyone when you can barley hold your eyes open because you had to stay up until 1:00 studying and doing HW and even though your tired you know you still have practice after school...then after practice, 5:30-6:00, at home you have chores, dinner, and homework. On top of everything they pile on us at school we have our home lives and for some people that life is incredibly hard at the moment. We would like some time off too. I dont think they realize that we have struggles too. They might not be as big as paying the rent, but to us... Right now... they are huge..
