I hope everyone - at least in the southern part of the state - enjoyed the sun today. As for me, I made a 300+ mile circuit... saw a very backlit Horicon pump house snowy owl watch a fairly large crowd of onlookers... saw four very large hawks that flew away as soon as I pulled over to try to make images in various locations... made an image of the very small hawk at mostly-cloudy Buena Vista wildlife area and briefly met Sunil Golapan while watching a distant snowy north of Madison just before sunset. Final score: 0 keeper images but after weeks in the clouds, it felt great to be out in the sun. Sunil, great to meet you! I didnt find the owl after if left the fence post on the hill - hopefully you did!
